Each kit contains four strong, lightweight brackets that slide over the top four corners of your LitterPal box, where they will remain securely until you are ready to deploy a fresh box. I'm confused, is LitterPal a box or a bag?
It's both! LitterPal® is actually a specially designed box that contains 32 bio-bags. However, the box performs a unique trick: it transforms (in a few simple steps) into a portable litter collection container. So, while the perfectly-sized bags do the work of containing odors and preventing unnecessary waste, the companion LitterPal box does the work of preventing spills and litter debris, as well as much of the frustration of litter box cleaning.
How many bags are in one LitterPal box?
Each LitterPal box contains 32 Quick-Bags®, one for each day of the month (plus some extras).
Are your Quick-Bags biodegradable?
LitterPal Quick-Bags are made from all-natural corn starch, and are certified for ASTM D6400 technical standards for degradability (under ideal composting conditions). However, since used cat litter (and all pet waste) cannot safely be composted and is most often sent to landfills, degradability of pet waste containers has not been accurately measured. The same is true for all landfill-bound plastic labeled "biodegradable".
Can I recycle LitterPal boxes?
Yes, LitterPal boxes can be recycled.
What if I want to cancel my LitterPal subscription?
No problem, your subscription can be stopped (or restarted) any time you choose. When canceling your subscription, any pending shipments will also be canceled, although boxes already shipped will, of course, be delivered on schedule. To make any modifications to your LitterPal plan, just login to your account page.
What is the "Corner Kit" used for?
The "Corner Kit" is a set of four stabilizing plastic brackets that fit onto the top corners of your LitterPal boxes. You simply slide them onto the top corners, where the will sit securely until you are ready to replace your LitterPal with a fresh one. The Corner Kit can be re-used indefinitely. Why do my Quick-Bags sometimes stick together?
In dry climates, it may help to moisten a finger before dispensing a fresh bag from the LitterPal container, which will allow the bags to more easily separate.
I have two litter boxes, do I need two subscriptions?
For households with more than one litter box, for your own convenience we recommend ordering a dedicated LitterPal for each one. Since we also recommend daily box cleaning, dedicated LitterPals for each box just makes sense. You can easily add addional boxes to your monthly plan at any time.

How do your pet shelter donations work?
For all annual plan members, we donate 10% of our proceeds to several prominent resuce and animal welfare organizations (The Shelter Pet Project, for example). We are working to open additional donation channels to all qualifying shelters and rescue groups. However, even if your local shelter is not yet signed up, the donation you triggered will go to an active, hands-on, transparent animal charity. For other (non-annual) members, we also donate a percentage of proceeds to these very worthy organizations.
Do you store sensitive information, such as credit card numbers?
No. All credit card transactions are processed securely through our partner Stripe. Even though our checkout form appears to be on our site, your credit card information is actually never handled directly by us. In addition, our site uses very strong 256-bit encryption for all transactions and forms. Your security is taken very seriously.
Can I buy LitterPal at my local pet store?
Currently, we do not sell LitterPal in pet stores. However, if enough customers request LitterPal in their local pet stores, that could change.
