Companies are beginning to take advantage of the benefits of offering Tax Day freebies. So we created a list of the most popular and exciting offers that we could find for April 15th.
Tax Day sales and freebies are becoming more popular from major brands in the US. Many companies have realized the opportunity to capture customers who may be looking for a quick tax-related stress reliever. In past years, companies have offered free massages, free and discounted food from the likes of Starbucks and Cinnabon, and even free shredding services. There’s no catch to these offers, they’re simply offered as a way to relieve Tax Day stress.
Well this year is no different, and while the list will keep growing, here’s a quick peek of what’s available so far:
Tax Day Freebies
Cinnabon is back again for 2015, giving customers a free bite to eat on April 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at participating locations.
Great American Cookies are offering a free regular sugar cookie on Tax Day to every customer at participating locations.
Hard Rock CafĂ© is offering a free burger to taxpayers with a twist. To get the free burger, they’re asking people to sing to fellow diners, and the offer is valid between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.
HydroMassage has also returned for 2015 and is offering taxpayers a free HyrdoMassage experience between April 13th and 17th at participating locations.
Kona Ice, the folks who made shaved ice food trucks famous, are giving away free shaved ice with a Hawaiian lei.
Maggie Moo’s is giving away free samples of its new ice cream pizza between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at participating locations.
Taco Del Mar is giving away free tacos via a single-day coupon valid on, you guessed it, April 15th. You’ll need to sign up to receive the coupon.
Tax Day Sales & Discounts
Whole Foods, yes – you read that correct, WHOLE FOODS, will be waiving sales tax on April 15th on purchases at participating locations.
P.F. Chang’s is offering 15% off in honor of the 15th of April, on all dine-in or carry-out orders – but the discount excludes Happy Hour specials or alcoholic beverages.
IHOP has a month-long promotion in April that lets your little tax dependents 12 and under eat free between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Subway in certain areas will be hosting a Tax Day/Customer Appreciation Day and offer buy one, get one on foot long subs.
